I had a this style of dress in black/XL years ago and loved the fit/got many compliments. Then I lost a bunch of weight (I know - terrible problem), so I looked if there was a similar dress in S. There was, and I tried it. I liked the large polka dot print (it actually replaced ANOTHER dress in terms of pattern). Not super crazy about how open the neckline is: I had to pin it pretty high so my bra wasn't showing in the front, and I still have to wear a sweater/blazer because the back of my bra is completely visible. I like the length and drape of it (although I would like it a little more fitted around the waist). The material is lightweight but substantial. Not see-through, and I don't wear a slip underneath. Not exactly perfect, but a pretty good replacement for somebody trying to redo her wardrobe.
