I went off measurements for the size. I’m a 32 waist and 41 hips. The Large fit perfect! Now, if I was looking at the size and bought a 10-12 (like I would predict to normally fit me) the fit would not have worked!! I strongly recommend going off measurements. :) Go up a size if you are closer to the max waist and hip measurements. It will give you more room in the waist and hips. Just saying, mine had just the right amount of roominess without being too tight or too loose. Love that it has zipper and buttons—not elastic in the waist. Pockets are a plus. Very happy with my purchase!!!
